A first attempt at Friday Flash 55 . . .

The Creeps
by Kathleen Kimball-Baker

Simmons left work late so as not to be seen.
Partings always raised the hair on his neck.
He got as far as two blocks away before it happened.

Earlier, Magda cast tiny bones onto tattered black velvet.
She rarely missed a chance to spook her wretched ex.
Tonight, she sent crows with scarlet eyes.

To join the fun, write any story you like in 55 words (no more, no less).

Hey hey hey.....
Very Nice Kathleen.
You need to start thinking about doing this Thursday night.
The reason being....?
This was one of the best ones of this week and I would like more people to read what a perfect 55 should be.
Thank you so much for this Gem.....Galen

Wow, Kathleen, that is a great story in 55 words! Really great! And Magda must be a Hungarian witch! With a name like Magda, she couldn't be anything else. Haha.

I am trying my hand at Hint Fiction of 25 words or less. Don't know if I can do it, but it certainly is a challenge.

I am glad I got this far. We'll see if the commentt actually goes through. I tried earlier and my pc froze on your page and I had to exit. Dunno why this happens only here.

Later...

Crows with eyes like rubies - I love it. Glowing in the dark - terrifying.
